The Xelero X-GPS provides unparalleled support and functionality. The enhanced Xelero technology incorporates a “Guidance Propulsion System”. The Propulsion element cradles the rear foot and extends forward to guide the foot into a neutral position thought the gait cycle. The carbon fiber “Slingshot” plate provides torsional stability, keeping the foot in alignment, and helps to reduce impact pressure. The dual layer “X-Lite” midsole provides cushioning, under the foot, and speeds up heel to toe transition when walking or running. The X-GPS is lighter weight than some of our other Xelero shoes and the only motion control/stability shoe in the market with rearfoot and forefoot stability. Ideally suited for running and walking.

“Healthy shoes for feet”… Xelero has been shown to help several common foot related issues including Plantar Fasciitis, Metatarsalgia, Hallux Rigidus, Ankle pain, Knee pain and Lower Back pain due to misalignment issues.
These are very well made, comfortable shoes for my feet. I had to try a few Xelero shoes to find the ones that worked for me. These have good cushion and are not as stiff as the Genesis. It feels like they will work well for my Hallux Limitus! I had 2 issues; The heel has some slip. At least for me they do. It is not awful, but although well padded, it does not hug my heel like other athletic shoes I have. It is not enough for me to return them, but I wish it were snug. The 2nd thing is these are higher volume shoes. When I first put them on, there was too much room in the forefoot area (on top of the foot), making the shoes feel a bit sloppy. At first I thought they were too long and were going to exchange them, but Xelero sent an extra pad to slip into the shoe obviously for this purpose. I appreciate this, and putting the pad in along with my orthotic, made the shoes fit properly. However, it does beg to thought, Xelero knew these shoes were this way. Sometimes when you have to adjust a shoe to get it to fit, you wonder if you should keep them. The last thing is I wish Xelero shoes were not sent with is the laces being laced “over then under” . You cannot pull them tight to get the proper fit. The laces don’t budge with “over then under” lacing. So, I had to pull all the laces out and re-lace them. Insignificant, but inconvenient.
