I’m relatively new to Xelero. I have big toe arthritis so I’ve been trying there carbon plate shoes. These boots come BIG. I put in an arch support on top of the original insert. Need to wear regular socks plus thick wool socks. I was surprised how roomy they are. Overall I like them. Considering ordering the at least half a size smaller.

I am a woman with very wide feet and high arches. I have custom orthotic inserts for my shoes and these Hyperion II Hi Men’s BOOTS X76314 are amazing! The toe box of these men’s boots is deep enough to fit a thick orthotic AND my crazy arches and hammer toes without pinching or rubbing. I feel very stable when wearing these and am much less likely to lose my balance, turn an ankle, bump into things or FALL. I’ve had 3 pairs of these so far. I’ve practically worn out my first pair (by crawling around in the garden for years, and remodeling my house) and they look terrible of course, but I still wear them and they are intact except for holes in the toes! I also used the “Hyperion II Men’s SHOE for years before I needed to switch to boots for added support. I like the black boots for ” formal wear” (lol, I can only wear this type of shoe now as my feet have steadily worsened throughout my life due to a progressing genetic condition called CMT. However, the black ones seem to be discontinued. I dearly hope the mocha ones are not on the chopping block! I highly recommend these boots and/or shoes for anyone with difficult orthopedic issues. After a lifetime of trying everything out there, these are the best. For reference, I wear men’s size 8 in these, either D or 4E have worked well, but I now prefer the 4E. In women’s shoes I used to wear a 7.
