I usually get the GPS, but decided to try the Genesis II and I’m glad I did. My feet are not fatigued after a long day on my feet. I’m excited to wear this new color and I wear them with athletic wear, jeans and casual pants. I’ve received so many compliments. Thanks Xelero for making a great looking sneaker that is comfortable!

I tried the Genesis 2 in the Navy/amethyst as the Genesis in periwinkle seems to have been discontinued. For those whose feet tend to swell, the Navy / amethyst has the tongue sewn to the side of the shoe halfway. I discovered this when I kept trying to loosen the laces because my feet were a little more swollen. When loosening the laces didn’t give me the desired effect I discovered that the tongue was sewn so no amount of loosening the lace was going to help. Has I’d worn them a few times and wasn’t able to return them, I decided to try cutting the tongue away from the side and it worked.
